Columbine (Achillegia) Double Pleated Blackberry Cultivation Report

I tried growing double pleated blackberries of Western columbine (Achillegia) from seedlings

Sierra: Hello. I’m Sierra, a fairy of Western columbine (Achillegia).

Paula: It’s also Paula. This western columbine series has a wide variety and various types, right?

Sierra: If you say that, there are a lot of variations. Thanks to you, this Western columbine series can be released in succession.

Paula: Well, all the readers were tired of our faces, so this time we asked them to put out in a double-pleated blackberry style. I wonder if it’s a little plain

Sierra: Did you do that double pleated blackberry? I think it’s an incarnation of evil!

Paula: What are you talking about? Only this chic purple shade, double pleated blackberry, is the only one. The astringent color of this blackberry is an adult taste in the western columbine, which has many pretty colors such as pink and yellow. Soulful and contemporary outfit

Sierra: I don’t understand!

The columbine series can be grown from seeds or started with seedlings. It’s as strong as weeds and has a lot of vitality like us. Flexible

What are we, mix me up. Well, if you start with columbine from seeds, you won’t be able to make buds with the cold of midwinter, so it’s been two years since you started with seeds. It’s going to be a little long (see Achillegia McCana Giant here for what happens when you grow it from seeds). So this time, I’m going to try it from the seedlings after one winter.

The main body sleeps deep in the ground for the whole of February, but I don’t hear the voice of March, and it starts to grow leaves fiercely. While being mistaken for a clover.

That’s right. Please be careful not to be mistaken for a clover and be pulled out. If you look at it, it’s not that similar, though.

Wow, it’s fast! The bud is already big for 2 weeks!

The columbine that passed through the winter will grow at once in March. There is a tower with thick stems! Is there a bud there?

Something like this, it’s a beautiful color, or a delicious color. It smells like blueberries in your mouth, which you might inadvertently get into your mouth.

Even if you throw it in your mouth, the taste of blueberries is not good, but it looks delicious, yet it has a chic color.

Columbine (Achillegia) double pleated blackberry cultivation point

Due to the nature of buds that do not form unless they pass through the cold of winter, when cultivated from seeds, flowering will occur around March the following year even if they are sown in spring. More stable, voluminous plants and flowers are produced in the second year than in the first year and in the third year than in the second year.
